St. Patrick's Day AND My Birthday!

If anyone knows/remembers from previous posts, my birthday is on St. Patrick's Day!
And since I have a chance to be festive for one or the other, I always do both, because who doesn't want to be extra festive?!

Here are the nails!

My birthday hand's theme was sweet, since it was my Sweet Sixteen!

I did pink candy/frosting drips on my thumb. My pointer I wrote my name over Pretty & Polished's 'Cheer Camp'. For the middle I wrote 16 on a jelly sandwich. My ring had a cupcake with frosting using Pretty & Polished's 'Jawbreaker', Lush Lacquer's 'birthday cake', and 'Party of 5 glitters'. And finally, my pinky is a light blue to pink gradient!

For my St. Patrick's Day hand, I had originally planned another set of designs, but I ended up redesigning them since I didn't like them.

So, my thumb and pinky are light to dark green gradients with flakies from 'Luxe and Lush'. My pointer is a pastel rainbow with glitter and a cloud. My middle is a 17 over a glitter sandwich just like my other hand. And finally, my ring is a green cupcake with glitter! My middle and ring fingers were the only original ones, since the match my other hand.

I hope you had a fun St. Patrick's Day!

That's all for now!<3

Valentine's Day!

EDIT: This didn't post, I guess I can't figure out my queue!

So, Valentine's Day is upon us again! I actually like this holiday since there is always tons of chocolate and chocolate is one of a girl's best friends!  Plus having an awesome boyfriend helps!

Anyways, here are the nails I did for Valentine's Day!

For this hand I did two water marbled nails, half hearts on my middle two, and wrote "love" with a heart border.

My heart! I placed red microbeads caviar-style as the border.

I think this was impressive since I did this nail in less than a minute since I had run out of ideas to do!

Now for my other hand!

I did alternating grey and pink nails with an accent nail of grey and white stripes with a heart.

On the grey nails I used pink glitter and pink hearts.  On the pink nails I used silver glitter and grey hearts!

So, Valentines day has a lot of hearts! Which reminded me of my ring that my boyfriend got me. Isn't it just perfect for the holiday?!

And of course, heart shaped chocolate!

I hope you enjoyed your Valentine's Day!

I love Indies!

Indies are a total hit right now! And I am SO not complaining, since they're so amazeballs!

And since my boyfriend is such an enabler, he buys me so much!
And I have to use them all. Seriously.

Soooooo here's a simple, yet cute, mani I did using indies!

For all my fingers, except my two accent nails, I used Essie Cocktail Bling.
And without further ado...

This is one medium coat of Glitzology Island of Misfit Toys over Cocktail Bling.
This is two coats of Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker.

And for the other hand!

This is two coats of Glitzology Diet Cokehead over Cocktail Bling

This is two coats of Pretty & Polished Cheer Camp

So easy to create a cute mani without needing to have to do crazy nail art all the time!

Hawaii Haul!

So last month I had a competition in Honolulu, Hawaii!
It was my first time there and I had heard a lot about Island Girl polishes! So I wanted to get some.
But as I was walking around, I found this little beauty store that had RACKS of nail polish.
It was basically heaven...
And I bought nail polish!!

Here we go!

See, I ONLY bought six!

These were all the last ones, so naturally I HAD to have them

I can always use more DS polishes anyways!

And then I looked a bit more and I found....

YUP! Last Friday Night!

This haul made me so excited!
But, I didn't buy any Island Girl polishes... How ironic! However, I know they're also sold in Las Vegas! ;D

Happy 2013!

I hope you all had a fun and safe New Year's! I just spent time with my family and friends.
And of course, I did my nails!
I didn't really know what to do for this year's nails since I was feeling kind of uninspired.
However I looked around, and finally thought of some stuff!
Without further ado, here are the nails!

For this hand I started with a black base. Then I put one coat of "Island of Misfit Toys" from Gliztology on every finger but my accent.

For my accent nail I used a combination of small hex glitters from those little tube things I got for Christmas, and small hexes from "Party of 5 Glitters" and the similar Hot Topic skull glitter. I individually hand-placed these onto my nail.

Sparkly!

On my other hand I wanted to do a gradient, but then as I was doing it, I realized it wasn't really much of a gradient, but I still liked it! I used OPI DS "Radiance" and "Glow". On the tips where "Glow" is, I used Color Club's "Gingerbread".  Then over them I painted 2013 for the year, of course! On my thumb, I used "Party of 5 Glitters" and did a glitter gradient.

Happy New Year!

Christmas nails!

It's FINALLY time I put up my Christmas nails!
I used a glue base for all of these because I knew I wasn't gonna wear them long, and I knew they were hard to take off.

So, for a very simple design, I used Pretty and Polished Party On My Yacht on every finger except my middle. They reminded me of Christmas lights in the snow! And even though we don't have snow, it was nice to remember from my childhood.
On my accent nail, I did a Christmas tree using Color Club's Holiday Splendor and then decorated it!

For this hand, I just did glittery stripes in red (Sally Hansen Red Carpet), gold (Color Club Gingerbread), and green (Color Club Holiday Splendor)! Then my accent nail was just a French tip of the same colors! Ignore the pointer finger, I used my glue base and some polish peeled off while I was opening presents!

Me wearing my new Tiffany ring that I showed in THIS post..
It's by Paloma Picasso in the Loving Hearts collection!

And here's all that my boyfriend got me for Christmas!

That's all for now<3

What I got for Christmas...ONE DIRECTION!

I'm a proud Directioner! And of course, for Christmas, I got some amazing 1D stuff!
Here are some nails I did for the release of 'Take Me Home' by them!

1D logo on my thumb; Zayn, Louis, and Liam on my pointer; Union Jack on my middle; Niall and Harry on my ring; and the Irish flag for cute Niall!

Now, this is pre clean up!
A letterman jacket with an M for Zayn, a polo and cardigan for Niall, Red and blue plaid for Liam, a blazer for Harry, and stripes and suspenders for good ol' Louis!

Now on to the presents!
My little brother is so adorable! He bought me a 1D bag because he "knew I'd love it!"

And my boyfriend got me the limited edition boxed set of 'Take Me Home!'

INSIDE:

A bracelet

 A shirt

And the picture book with the CD and stickers inside!

This all made me a VERY happy Directioner!

That's all for now<3
